Travel + Leisure magazine February 2026 issue

Travel + Leisure magazine’s February 2026 issue has an article titled “Sea Change” highlighting Carmel-by-the-Sea. I was pleased to see it made mention to my Mobiles at the Carmel Art Association:

“Founded in 1927, the Carmel Art Association is the oldest gallery in town (Salvador Dali was a member) and mounts new exhibitions every month. We saw Laurent Davidson’s vibrant mobiles hovering above sculptures and paintings. The artist grew up in Saché, France, with Alexander Calder as a neighbor. When Davidson was 15, the sculptor gifted him with a pair of pliers, thus encouraging his mobile-making endeavors.”
